The Auersperg Palace, which hosts the City Museum of Ljubljana, is an important part of Ljubljana’s cultural heritage. The permanent exhibition, ‘Ljubljana. History. City.’ is an exhibition that can definitely be understood as the museum’s identity card and an extremely important document of Ljubljana. The exhibition offers local and foreign visitors an opportunity to learn about the town’s history and draws attention to the city’s important geostrategic position and to the extraordinary events in the history of the area. The Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday 10AM–6PM.
